12 Days of action

This year’s theme for 12 Days of action campaign against violence against women, from November 25th to December 6th 2020, is: “Let’s put an end to Systemic Violence!”.

Months of a pandemic and weeks of quarantine in the Spring of 2020 have brought out violence that we thought was in the past. Other acts of violence have worsened, intensified, and transformed: Gender-based and sexual violence, but also the violence of not being seen or heard.

Join us on December 6 for an action to raise awareness on violence against women in front of the Centre at 1586 Fleury east. We will honor the victims of the Polytechnique massacre, as well as the missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and two-spirit people.

In order to avoid gatherings, we invite you to stop by our kiosk between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m., to respect the physical distancing measures and to wear a mask. White ribbons, kits containing a mask and hand sanitizer, as well as hot chocolate will be distributed.
